Miss Sophia Kong is an internationally acclaimed Malaysian belly dance (Oriental dance) artist, choreographer, instructor, and event producer. Known for her expressive musicality, refined technique, and captivating stage presence, she has performed and taught extensively across Asia and beyond, representing Malaysia on prestigious international platforms.

She is the Founder of the World Belly Goddess Festival, an international belly dance celebration that gathers renowned artists, judges, and dancers from around the world. Through this visionary platform, she has significantly elevated Malaysia’s standing within the global Oriental dance community and created opportunities for dancers to shine on an international stage.

Sophia is also the founder and principal instructor of the Asia Belly Dance Academy, where she mentors dancers from beginner to professional levels, shaping many award-winning performers. Her expertise spans multiple styles of Oriental dance, and she is highly skilled in prop performance including Isis wings, cane (Saidi), veil, fan veils, Spanish fan, candelabra, sword, veil poi, and feather fans.
