Bellydance photography
I built my photography career around the world of bellydance — but it didn’t start there.
I began as a wedding photographer in Bangladesh, capturing love stories, traditions, and grand celebrations. Eventually, I made the decision to return home to Malaysia and start anew. That fresh beginning led me into the vibrant world of bellydance events — and from that moment on, there was no turning back.
What began as an exploration quickly became a passion. I found myself traveling across Southeast Asia, China, Taiwan, South Korea, the Middle East, and Europe, covering festivals, competitions, and spectacular stage performances. The energy, the costumes, the rhythm, the community — it was addictive in the best way.
The joy of combining travel, culture, and artistic expression made the choice clear. I chose to dedicate myself fully to the bellydance community — and it has been an incredible journey ever since.

Our unique Services
idolhunter offers a unique service model unlike others. We work with the full support and special rights granted by the event organisers, yet we provide our services directly to the dancers. All photo purchases are managed directly through idolhunter’s management, completely removing the administrative burden from the event organisers.
This is the crucial and distinctive part of our service. idolhunter understands the specific needs of dancers — from pose selection to detailed editing preferences. Any requested adjustments are handled individually, carefully, and with precision, ensuring each dancer receives images that truly reflect their performance and personality.
